Potato Leeks Stirfry

2 Potatoes (Peeled and sliced)
2 Leeks (sliced 1" inch thick)
1 small onion (chopped)
3 Green chillies (Cut into half)
2 cloves of garlic (Finely sliced)
1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp oil
salt to taste

  • Heat oil in a wok, add the Fennel seeds, onion, chillies and garlic. Fry for 2 mins.
  • Then add the potatoes, turmeric powder and salt with few tablespoons of water. Cover the wok and cook till potatoes are 3/4 done.
  • Stir in between to make sure that potatoes don't stick to the pan.
  • Then add the leeks and stir fry for 5 more mins till potatoes are fully cooked.
  • Switch of the stove and serve it hot.
