Caramelised Banana Split Ice cream

3 Ripe Bananas 
1/4 cup Caster sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp Butter
A dash of Vanilla essence
A pinch of Nutmeg
5-6 scoops of Butterscotch ice cream (or any of your favourite flavour)
2 tbsp Chopped nuts (Optional)

  • Peel the bananas and dice it into 1 inch thick rounds.
  • Melt butter in a non stick pan. Add sugar, water, nutmeg and vanilla essence. Let sugar melt and form into caramel.
  • Now add the banana slices to the pan and let it get coated with the caramel mixture.
  • Serve the caramelised bananas in a glass bowl with few scoops of ice cream topped with chopped nuts.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
